Note  In Office 2000, the file name data1.msi does not clearly identify which version of Office you have. In this case, you need to inventory the installation of Office programs on your computer by examining your Start menu entries or click Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel and scan through the list of entries to determine the version of Office that is installed.

The type of batteries used in APC's uninterruptible power supplies are sealed, nonspillable, maintenance-free, lead-acid batteries. The electrolyte is suspended in felt pads within the battery and therefore the batteries are spill-proof. The battery terminals are protected against short-circuit during transport. APC adheres to provision number A67 in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the batteries that are used. Since different batteries are used in different UPS systems, the MSDS sheets are not UPS model specific but rather battery specific. Any of the mentioned manufacturers could be used as almost any UPS battery. The battery manufacturer's name may be located on the battery itself. In order to make code 39 or code 3 of 9 barcodes, first, make sure you have the fonts needed. See this location, and download BARCOD39.TTF. Place this file in your c:\windows\fonts or c:\winnt\fonts folder.

You will need two columns. One will hold the data for the barcodes, the second will hold the barcode. In the second field, enter ="*"&A2&"*", replace A2 in this example with the field where the data is held.

Select the desired Barcode font and size for this Cell (where the barcode is), using the Excel Font and Size selection boxes

-         Go to Config Sevices tab and make sure these three are the same.

Now go to License Options and add the MFG bundle and click ok

-         Once in UGII go down to ugraf

o       Right click on ugraf and go to properties

o       Click on the Compatibility Tab

§         Check the run in compatibility mode box

Now you should be ready to start up NX 4

1. Make sure the Key (USB or Paralell Port) is connected.
2. Run the command "CMLockID". This will let you know if the PC sees the key.
3. Re-Run the registry file for Checkmate.

• The forwarding address can be any mail-enabled object. Examples of mail-enabled objects include distribution groups, security groups, public folders, and other related items.
• A user can do this themselves by using the web based Outlook, or in certian versions of the Outlook Client.

2. Right-click the mail-enabled user, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Exchange General tab.
4. Click Delivery Options.
5. In the Forwarding Address section, click Forward to, and then click Modify.

   Note If you want e-mail to be delivered to the original mailbox as well as the forwarding address, select the Deliver messages to both forwarding address and mailbox check box.

1.	If you do not have a Lexmark printer installed, go to step 4. If you do have a Lexmark printer installed, go to step 2.
2.	If the Lexmark print service is installed on your computer, turn off the LexBce Server service. To do this, follow these steps: a. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. b. Expand Services and Applications, and then click Services. c. In the details pane, right-click LexBce Server, and then click Properties. d. On the General tab, in the Startup type list, click Disabled. e. Under Service status, click Stop, and then click OK. f. Right-click the Print Spooler service, and then click Start (if it is stopped). g. Exit Computer Management.
3.	Test whether the issue is resolved. If the issue is resolved, you do not have to follow the remaining steps. If the issue is not resolved, go to step 4, and then follow the remaining steps.
4.	Start the computer in safe mode. To do this, follow these steps: a. Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot menu appears. b. Select an option when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and then press ENTER. c. When the Boot menu appears again, and the words "Safe Mode" appear in blue at the bottom, select the installation that you want to start, and then press ENTER. Note For more information about how to start your computer in safe mode, click Start, click Help and Support, type safe mode in the Search box, press the ENTER key, and then click the Start Windows in safe mode topic.
5.	Start Microsoft Windows Explorer, and then delete all the files and the folders in the following two folders (where C: is the drive where you have Windows XP installed): • C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers • C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86
6.	Start Registry Editor. To do this, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
7.	Locate and expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86 View the list of subkeys. There should only be the following subkeys: • Drivers • Print Processors
8.	If there are any subkeys other than the subkeys that are listed in step 6, follow these steps: a. On the File menu, click Export. b. In the File Name box, type the name that you want to use for this key, such as WindowsNTx86regkey, and then click Save. You can use this backup of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86 registry key to restore the key if you experience any issues after you complete this procedure. c. Delete all the subkeys other than the subkeys that are listed in step 6. To do this, right-click each subkey that is not on the list, and then click Delete. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
9.	Locate and then expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers The registry entries for the printer drivers that are installed on the computer are stored in the Version-x subkey or subkeys, where x is a number (typically 2 or 3).
10.	Export the Version-x subkey or subkeys. To do this, follow these steps: a. On the File menu, click Export. b. In the File Name box, type the name that you want to use for this key, such as print driver, and then click Save.
11.	Expand the Version-x subkey or subkeys, and then delete the printer driver entries. To do this, right-click each printer driver subkey, and then click Delete. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
12.	Locate and then expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors View the list of subkeys. There should only be the following subkeys for the default print monitors: • BJ Language Monitor • Local Port • PJL Language Monitor • Standard TCP/IP Port • USB Monitor
13.	If there are any subkeys other than the subkeys that are listed in step 12, follow these steps: a. On the File menu, click Export. b. In the File Name box, type the name that you want to use for this key, such as MonitorsRegkey, and then click Save. You can use this backup of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors registry key to restore the key if you experience any issues after you complete this procedure. c. Delete all the subkeys other than the subkeys that are listed in step 10. To do this, right-click each subkey that is not on the list, and then click Delete. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
14.	If you have a printer attached, disconnect the printer cable from the computer, and then restart the computer.
15.	Verify that the Print Spooler service is running. To do this, follow these steps: a. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. b. Expand Services and Applications, and then click Services. c. In the details pane, right-click the Print Spooler service, and then click Start (if it is stopped). d. Exit Computer Management. Note If you cannot start the Print Spooler service, follow the steps in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article to start the Print Spooler service: 919750 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919750/) You experience problems printing, viewing printer icons, and adding printers, the Print Spooler service does not function correctly, and you receive print-related error messages on a Windows XP-based computer
16.	If you have a printer attached, reconnect the printer cable to the computer, add the printer that you want, and then try to print a test page. To add your printer, follow these steps: a. Click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes. b. Click Add a printer. The Add Printer Wizard starts. c. Follow the instructions in the Add Printer Wizard to install the printer that you want.

Be sure to have a database open than you can modify. The best way to do this is to make a new database, just be clean and delete it afterwards.

1. On the Create tab, in the Other group, click Macro, and then click Macro.
2. On the Design tab, click Show All Actions in the Show/Hide group.
3. On the Macro1 tab (right below where you just were), select RunCommand in the Action column, and then below, select WorkgroupAdminstrator in the Command list.
4. In the Tools group, click Run. (the red !, top left).
5. Select Yes. Then select OK.

Then join them in as you would normally in other version of Access.

The easy way is to use the %CD% pseudo-variable. It expands to the current working directory.

The %CD% trick is handy even from the command line. For example, I often find myself in a directory where there's a file that I want to operate on but... oh, I need to chdir to some other directory in order to perform that operation.

Run Regedit

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

If you are new to using email or if you have used it only occasionally, you may want to become more familiar with some of the general rules of writing email. The following are 10 good rules of netiquette or good manners when writing on the Internet.

1. Write a meaningful subject line
   Never underestimate the importance of a subject line. Some people get hundreds of emails, so the trick is writing a descriptive subject line to catch the reader's attention. Saying "Chapter 11" could mean anything. If instead you said "Questions about Chapter 11," the recipient will know the topic of the email.

   If all you have to say can be said in a few words, for example "Do we have to read chapter 5?" you might consider putting the whole content of your message in the subject line. That way the person on the other end won't have to open the email to get the point.

2. Keep it short
   With email, you want to keep words to a minimum. The good thing about email is you can skip many formalities. Everyone expects you to get to the point. The rule here is less is better.
3. Avoid using ALL CAPS
   On the Internet, writing in all CAPS means you are SHOUTING at someone. If you want to emphasize words, use asterisks around them.
4. Use your judgment with attachments
   Do not send large attachments as they take a frustratingly long time to download, especially on older computers. Also, make sure that the person at the other end can open the type of file you are sending.
5. P-r-o-o-f-r-e-a-d
   Always run a spell check on your emails, then proofread. The spell check may accept a word that exists in the dictionary, even if it does not make sense in the context of your sentence. An email with grammatical and spelling mistakes may make as bad an impression as a faulty resume.
6. Be careful what you say
   Do not assume that your email will be seen only by the recipient; your mail can be forwarded any number of times.
7. Reply promptly
   This makes a good impression, even if it's just to acknowledge you received an email.
8. Pay attention to formatting
   It is very tempting to go wild with formatting to make text look more attractive, but control the impulse. Some users might have computers that cannot read certain kinds of formatting (font, size, color, etc.), so they will just receive the mail as gibberish. Emails with heavy formatting are larger and may even cause older computers to crash.
9. Do not be flame happy
   A flame is an angry and sometimes abusive email message. Flames are part of email tradition, but you have to be careful. Also, guard against flame wars, sending flames back and forth among two or more people, as these tend to get nasty and can lead to bad feelings among an online group.
10. Reply to or forward an email to which you are referring
    When you want to refer to something in an email someone sent sometime back, just forward the earlier email and add your comments within the message. This way, people receiving the email will know the context in which they should read your mail. This is called a thread.
